What we collect

When you contact us for a quote or book work, we may collect:

• Your name and contact details (phone, email, address or postcode)
• Details and photos of the work you need
• Records of the work we carry out and any certificates we issue

How we use it

We use your information only to:

• Respond to your enquiry and provide a quote
• Carry out and document the work you ask us to do
• Issue certificates such as Benchmark or Landlord Gas Safety Records (CP12)
• Contact you about your job or remind you when a service is due

Lawful basis

We process your data on the basis of taking steps to enter into and perform a contract with you, our legitimate interest in running the business, and where required, our legal obligations as a gas engineer.

Sharing your data

We do not sell your data. We only share it where necessary — for example with Gas Safe Register or building control for notifiable work, or with our accountant for invoicing. We use WhatsApp to receive photos and messages; your use of WhatsApp is also subject to its own privacy terms. When you submit an enquiry through our website form, your details are sent securely to us via our website host and email/CRM providers so we can respond.

How long we keep it

We keep records of work carried out for as long as needed to meet our legal, safety and tax obligations, then delete them securely.
