These terms apply to quotes and work provided by LR Heating Ltd. By asking us to quote for or carry out work, you agree to these terms.
Quotes
Quotes are based on the information and photos you provide and on what we can see at the time. If the work needed changes once we begin — for example due to existing pipework or hidden faults — we will discuss any change in price with you before continuing.
Our work
All gas work is carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer and, where applicable, commissioned to the manufacturer’s Benchmark standard and notified to building control. We aim to leave every job clean, tested and working.
Your responsibilities
Please give us safe and reasonable access to the work area and accurate information about the property and appliances. Some work may require a working gas and electricity supply on the day.
Payment
Payment terms are agreed before work begins and are due on completion unless otherwise arranged. Prices are quoted in pounds sterling.
Guarantees
New appliances are covered by the manufacturer’s own guarantee, subject to their terms — which usually include an annual service. We are not the manufacturer and do not extend or replace their guarantee.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise our liability is limited to the value of the work carried out.
